YEAR 8 GERMAN PEN PAL EXCHANGE

Students have received their first letters from their pen pals and were excited to read about their likes, dislikes and what it is like where they live. Some even received little gifts or drawings! Alec Hunter students have written back to their pen pals with their own descriptions and questions in a mixture of both German and English.  The students will continue to exchange letters once a term for the rest of the year to learn more about one another and each other's cultures. They will also have the chance to "meet" their pen pals on a Teams call later in the year. Hopefully, this will enhance their language skills and will be the start of a wonderful friendship!
