It seeks to help students to develop an understanding about other nationalities and their countries. Students taking part will also be involved in a 'Human Rights Project'. Self-confidence and motivation are key skills the students will develop as well as being offered great travel opportunities around Europe. The Erasmus project will help develop life skills, which will, in turn, aid with future employment. Students from Alec Hunter Academy have recently visited Spain, Italy and Norway.
The World Challenge Team has successfully completed trips to Ethiopia, Uzbekistan and Tanzania and they are currently working towards a trip to Nepal in July 2018.
